SonyHCDG2000CD DOOR WON'T OPEN - RESOLDERED S221 (CD OPEN/CLOSE SWITCH) Unit would not open CD door. Troubleshooting found that S221 was not soldered from manufacturer.
SonyHCDD260NO AUDIO - RESOLDERED IC1101 PINS 7 & 36 (INPUT L & R) No audio output. IC1101 pins 7/36
SonyHCDD250NO LEFT AUDIO OUT - SOLDERED NO 701 ON POWER AMP BOARD Unit had no left audio. Visual inspection found No 701 jack on power amp board not soldered from manufacturer.
SonyHCDD1086NO TAPE MOTION - R538 OPEN Both tape decks would not run. Found negative 6V on positive tape motor terminal. Found series resister R538 open.

SonyDTC690INTERMITENT POWER - RESOLDERED Q905 +5V REGULATOR Unit went on and off as main board was touched. Found baseof Q905 cold soldered. -SOLUTION :Resoldered Q905.
